We were invited to Chad to work with the Ministry of Health and partners, such as Malaria No More, to develop a behaviour change communication campaign to increase knowledge on malaria prevention and treatment amongst citizens. Engaging popular artists, poets and celebrities, we worked in some of the most arid, remote conditions to bring awareness to villages at high risk.
Chad is a poor country with its own set of unique challenges. 65% of the population are unable to read. This justified the need to create a highly visual campaign that could overcome this challenge. We applied the power of music, popular icons and radio PSAs to reach even the most remote communities.
